Position: Search Marketing team looking for "the one"
The Manager, Search (Paid) will play a leading role in managing Adaptive's paid search function across the company's internal and subsidiary business units. Primary responsibilities include all aspects of paid search campaign management including bid/ad copy optimization, keyword research and expansions, test plans and implementation, budget/cost-per-acquisition management, spend management, landing page management, and campaign tracking/reporting/analytics.
This role will also contribute to search engine optimization (SEO) initiatives, web site and content development initiatives and client/agency relations. The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker with a passion for search marketing, a love for number crunching, and a drive to deliver timely and measurable results.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES, DUTIES, TASKS:
 Manage PPC/SEM marketing campaigns across all platforms (Google, Yahoo, MSN) for company's core product lines; manage campaign budgeting, expenses, and ROI targets on daily, weekly, monthly basis
 Manage testing and optimization including bid tactics, ad copy, and landing pages; research, build and refine keyword inventories across campaigns; monitor and capitalize on competitor and affiliate paid search activity
 Manage relationships with search engines, agencies, and internal clients
 Reporting and analysis, including daily campaign reporting, click/conversion analysis, and campaign/keyword P&L
 Manage campaigns to budgeted/forecasted CPO and CPL levels:

REQUIRED: KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES / EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION
 Minimum 3-5 years experience in managing SEM and PPC campaigns/budgets (preferably $1M+ annually)
 In-depth knowledge and experience with Google, Yahoo, MSN, and other tier I/II engines
 Expert Excel skills with strong search campaign reporting and analysis experience
 Experience using keyword research, web analytic, and bid-management tools
 Excellent writing skills, with experience writing killer paid search ad copy
 Meticulous and detail-oriented, with strong project management and organizational skills
PREFERRED: KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES / EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION:
 BA in marketing (or equivalent) preferred
 Knowledge of HTML/CSS code
 Understanding of effective website and landing page usability
 Experience working with campaign tracking pixels
 Agency experience
